Well it's been a LONG LONG week! My mom is totally driving me batty!!!! She is just NOT parent material anymore... 1st she parents right over me even after I have asked, told, yelled at her NOT to do that when I am there and I am correcting/talking to the boys... Second she has said things to Deven or in front of Deven and Dilen that I DO NOT want them to hear!!! Needless to say her and I ended up yelling at each other and she is refusing to come back next shift.... That is JUST FINE w/me!! My children do not need to be subjected to the crap she's dishing out.... SOOO just one more night w/Mom here and then tomorrow I will run her home for the last time... WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO
NOW about that night shift.... one more night THIS shift and then only 5 nights the week after Easter Sunday... E will be keeping the boys at night that week... Come 8-8:30 Friday, April 16th I am completely done with midnights!! Sunday, April 18th at 8:30am I will start my life on a regular, normal schedule - well it's days atleast... I will be working Thur-Mon so my weekends will be Tues/Weds... That's ok with me....
Dilen will be tested for Kindi admission on June 24th - we are working on letter identification since that's his weak point.... I am sure he will do fine... I had an initial meeting regarding testing/evaluating him for an IEP but we decided since he poses an unusual situation w/the early Kindi admission that we will hold off on the IEP process until we know if he passed the kindi testing.... Deven started back on his normal 40mg of Strattera today... Hopefully with mom not being here anymore - Me almost done w/nights and him being back on his regular meds he will fall back into a better place at school - if not I guess we will be considering adding Risperdal to his meds... I also added a vitamin and some raisins for snack to his day - I am thinking maybe he's been a little low on iron that he's been dosing off at school during the day - seems to be working so far - 1st day he only dosed a little and yesterday he didn't fall asleep at all....
OH!! Almost forgot - the school took Dilen to see the Easter Bunny the other day and I was sooo proud of my little pumpkin - he jumped right up on Mr EB's lap and smiled sooo nicely so I could get a pic... The first time since he was an itty bitty!!! WOOO HOOOO We weren't afraid this year!!!! I'll get the pic up somewhere sometime this week!!!
Not too much else going on - Just been keeping busy with work and have a little list of chores here I need to dive into.... Well we are off to an egg hunt... Til next time....
